SimulScreen
Screening Modes

Everything, everywhere, all at once.

SimulScreen gives us the ability to run multiple assays for all of the antibodies, all at the same time. For instance:

Specificity

Have a related molecule that you don’t want your antibody to bind to? Want to make sure it’s specific to your preferred form of target? We capture Abs on 1 slide, stain first with the non-preferred form and then the preferred form. A subtraction of images on the 2 stains reveals new hits specific to your preferred molecule.

Cross-Reactivity

Have a related molecule that you do want your antibody to bind to? We capture Abs on 2 slides and stain with each form. We then align the images from the 2 slides to find the cross-reactive Abs.

Blocking

You have a receptor or ligand that you want to block? We capture antibodies on 2 slides - on 1 we confirm binding to the target, on the 2nd we stain all binders with the target and subsequently try to stain with receptor - if it binds, the Ab doesn’t block the epitope. If it doesn’t bind, it’s a potential blocker.

Competition

Have a benchmark antibody that is functional or binds to an epitope of interest? We capture antibodies on 2 slides; on the first we confirm binding to the target, on the second we stain all binders with the target and then try to stain with benchmark Ab. If it binds, the captured Ab doesn’t block its epitope. If it doesn’t bind, it’s a potential competing Ab.

Have more than one of these challenges at a time?

Great! Let’s talk about how we can apply the appropriate screens in combination.
