Antibody Engineering & Therapeutics: What we saw

December 16-19, 2023

We had a great time at Antibody Engineering & Therapeutics last week – especially meeting with so many clients, prospects, collaborators, and other researchers.

In addition to presenting two posters (see below), our COO Allison Schulkins and Senior Scientist Chi-Min Chen attended sessions, checked out posters, and absorbed a lot of materials from other attendees. Two themes caught our eye:
• Bispecifics and ways to address them
• AI/machine learning being applied in many areas, including antibody discovery

TCRms and pH-dependent antibodies were also mentioned in many talks and presented research. Single Cell has already been working in these areas; we look forward to sharing our data.

We always come back from these events energized and full of new ideas to explore. What did you find interesting at AET? What antibody discovery challenges are you ready to take on?

Let us know what you think – and how we can help.

And about those posters we mentioned:

  • O Broad Anti-Influenza Antibody, Where Art Thou?

A case study on screening for antibodies that bind to several subtypes of influenza hemagglutinin (HA) proteins.

  • Gotta Catch ’Em All!

On the ability to capture and screen all antibodies in parallel.
